All about “Lumina” Series
The “Lumina” series is a two-part comic book that follows the story of Arah along with her family and friends, and how they resolve different types of enmeshment symptoms in their families. In her journey as a kid to before graduting high school, the stories follow not only Arah and her family, but how her friends’ families are also enmeshed and how they work through it as they transition to young adulthood.
Lumina: Utang na Loob (Book 1)
Synopsis
“Utang Na Loob” follows the story of Arah Reyes and her journey to finding out things about herself after going on a camping trip with her friends. She realizes that there are so many things she has yet to learn while her peers have already figured them out, feeling left out and behind.

Lumina: Kaleidoscope (Book 2)
Synopsis
Years after their camping trip, Arah’s family celebrates the twins’ birthday and the graduation of Arah and her friends. They reminisce on the stories they shared and how far they’ve come as friends and unexpectedly open up about each of their families.
